Marriage is considered as
the most important happening in the life of Qashqaei tribe.
It is even more important than birth or death. The elders of
the tribe came together and consulted Khan. Khan was the
main consultant when a tribal girl was going to get married.
Usually, he haggled about a higher price to be given to the
girl. The bridegrooms’ family had to pay a sum, which
usually consisted of a number of camels, sheep and horses as
determined by Khan to the family of bride to make marriage
possible.
