Magic Etchings
Persepolis

Legendary creatures, carved out of single blocks of stone, are present everywhere, as the guardians of the temple.
These eagles which stand back-to-back, are ready to rip the intruder apart with their sharp and deadly beaks. But, what's the use?!
During the destruction of Persepolis by Alexander, neither did the talons of these guards rip the enemy apart, nor did their wings have the power to fly.
