Today Turkmen tribe live within the borders of three countries;

Russia, Afghanistan and Iran.

Turkmen, the brave and immigrant desert-dwellers saddled their horses long time ago and have been galloping throughout the history ever since.

They used to live in certain areas looking for water, grass and cattle in every season of the year.

They caused the historical events to sweep forward and stepped into other lands as the people inhabiting in the middle Asia began to immigrate.

They put their life things on the saddle of their horses as the big immigration from the hot and scorching desert was launched.

Having passed through the outskirts of the big towns like Samarghand and Bokhara they gained the shores of two Aral and khazar lakes and set up their tents there.
